Eligibility includes colleges and universities, 1994 Land-Grant Institutions, and Hispanic-serving agricultural colleges and universities. Academic institutions must be accredited, nonprofit, and authorized to award bachelor’s or higher degrees. Research foundations affiliated with eligible institutions can also apply.
The grant includes two types of funding:
1. Integrated Projects: Support for initiatives that combine research, education, and extension to strengthen agricultural systems. 2. Food and Agricultural Science Enhancement (FASE) Grants: Includes coordinated agricultural project grants designed to expand research opportunities and strengthen institutional capacity.
